Ulster University Economic Policy Centre (UUEPC) - SME and VCSE public procurement survey now LIVE UUEPC is conducting research on behalf of the Department for the Economy and the Department of Finance to identify the barriers and opportunities for increasing SME participation in public sector procurement. As part of this research, we invite you to complete a short survey to help us better understand experiences of accessing public procurement opportunities in Northern Ireland. We are seeking responses from micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across all sectors, including voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations. We also encourage participation from organisations that have never applied for a public sector contract, as understanding the reasons why businesses do not engage is equally important. Your feedback will help identify where improvements can be made to the procurement process and where additional support, guidance and training could encourage greater participation by SMEs.
