Through Council’s new Markets Strategy and Action Plan, a new touring market model will be implemented, initially in the local 5 towns of Armagh, Banbridge, Dromore, Lurgan and Portadown. This new touring markets will offer specialist themed markets offering higher quality, authenticity, provenance and greater diversity of locally made food and other craft products. It is Council’s intention that the new touring market will add value to the current high streets, by attracting new shoppers into the city and town centres.
