*** Supplier information session***Monday 15 May 2023*** A supplier open day will be facilitated to provide potential tenderers with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with a current version of the magazine and how it is used in delivering news and information across Police Service of Northern Ireland and for any questions relating to the procurement. It is anticipated this will be at 10.00 on Monday 15 May 2023, the location and time will be confirmed following confirmation of attendance. Attendees will be limited to two individuals per company. Details of attendees must be submitted in advance as a message via eTendersNI, the message must contain the names of the company representatives. This information must be submitted through the secure messaging function within eTendersNI by 12 noon on Friday 12 May 2022. It is strongly recommended that tenderers avail of this open day. Background The Police Service of Northern Ireland Strategic Communications and Engagement Department supports the organisation through co-ordinating effective external communication via public appeals for information and assistance, the provision of appropriate and timely community safety and crime prevention information, responding to media inquiries and stakeholder engagement. The department is also responsible for advising senior management on internal strategic communications and engagement along with developing and delivering high quality internal communications campaigns and publications to the organisation. As part of its commitment to internal communications, the Strategic Communications and Engagement Department produces a service wide magazine called ‘CallSign’ - which enables the organisation to deliver news and a variety of information to every member of the organisation. ‘CallSign’ magazine has been the corporate magazine for 20+ years. The requirement from this contract is to employ a design agency to support internal communication, which includes the design and management of the production of our internal online magazine ‘CallSign’ and other collateral such as materials to support internal promotional campaigns. At present the Strategic Communications and Engagement Department publishes 4-6 regular editions of ‘CallSign’ each year, and a number of ‘special editions’ on single topics or events, as and when required. The design and layout of our online magazine is of critical importance to help sell the magazine to colleagues and provide encouragement to read.
