Description:
A new Integrated Care System (ICS) is currently being developed for Northern Ireland. This system signals a new way of planning and managing our health and social care services based on the specific needs of the population. The ICS approach brings many partners together, reaching out beyond traditional boundaries, the ICS will harness the strengths in our existing partnerships. The Community and Voluntary Sector are vital to realising this vision and therefore this is targeted piece of work to best informed how Community and Voluntary Sector should be supported, involved and recruited in the ICS. The Department of Health seeks to appoint a Contractor to provide external facilitation and produce draft proposals for the effective engagement of the Community and Voluntary Sector within the Integrated Care System for NI, which has a formal launch date of April 2024.
