The arrangements for electoral administration in Northern Ireland are different from elsewhere in the United Kingdom. The system in Northern Ireland is administered centrally by the Chief Electoral Officer for Northern Ireland (CEO). The CEO is both the electoral registration officer for all electors in Northern Ireland and returning officer for all elections and referendums in that jurisdiction. The Electoral Office for Northern Ireland requires a Contractor in order to deliver the following services: • The creation and maintenance of a centralised, managed legal information resource; • Development and delivery of training materials on legal matters of importance to EONI.
