This tender will commission a suitably qualified organisation to assist Derry City and Strabane District Council in the implementation of the good relations action plan, under the key priority of “our shared community”. Council now seek tenders to design and implement a challenging prejudice – civic and community leadership training programme. Derry City and Strabane District Council invites written proposals from suitably experienced and competent organisations / individuals to develop and deliver 2 separate but similar projects – one for civic leaders and the other for community leaders from across the Council area. This may be delivered as one project for community leaders but tenderers should tender for 2 separate projects with 9 participants on each programme. The projects should aim to provide an understanding and awareness of trigger issues which increase barriers to developing safer communities particularly in relation to intimidation and hate crime.
