The key objective of the Labour Market Partnership is to develop and deliver on its local action plan , which has been tailored to address issues identified under the three themes above. One of the interventions identified under Theme 3 – Covid-19 related labour market disruption - is the need to address the lack of HGV drivers in the AND Borough. A fully funded training opportunity will be offered to potential candidates seeking career development in the transport and logistics industry and who can honour the time commitments required in completing all required aspects of the training which will be delivered through the establishment of a HGV Training Academy.
