- Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invite tenders from suitably qualified Service providers for the supply and delivery of a Heavy Goods Vehicle and Coach Driving Academy. Feedback from local employers and increasingly across Northern Ireland (NI) and the UK is that there is currently a shortage of HGV Drivers and Bus/Coach Drivers. The rural district of Fermanagh and Omagh find this particularly challenging due to the logistics of servicing a rural district. The purpose of the HGV and Coach Driving Academy is to provide support and employability skills to those identified as economically inactive and/or long term unemployed within the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area.
