- The International Fund for Ireland is an independent, international organisation which was set up by the British and Irish Governments in 1986. The Fund’s objectives are to promote economic and social advance; and encourage contact, dialogue and reconciliation between Unionists and Nationalists throughout the island of Ireland. The Fund is currently implementing its Connecting Communities 2021-2024 Strategy which will be launched in September 2021 and aims to help tackle some of the most significant remaining challenges to lasting peace. This evaluation will look at the programme implementation and outcomes during the 2021-2024 period.
