- AFBI requires the Supply, Delivery, Installation, Warranty and Training of Staff in the use of an Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer with an automated sample preparation device for determination of the isotope ratios of gases such as CO2 released from carbonates and dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) by headspace analysis, and an elemental analyzer for determination of the isotopic ratios of carbon and nitrogen in solid samples such as sediments, animal and plant tissues.
