Consultancy Services for Refurbishment and Replacement of Mechanical and Electrical Services at City Baths, Derry The existing City Baths are located at William Street, Derry and have been in operation for approximately sixty years. However, with the onset of the Covid19 emergency in March 2020. It was decided to temporarily close this facility to the public and the baths have remained closed since that time. At the time of closure, it was decided to reduce or, close down the operation of some of the mechanical and electrical services with a view to reducing the ongoing operating costs of the building, however due to the nature of the building and the age of some of the infrastructure it wasn’t possible. Council now wishes to reopen this facility to the public and bring the pool back into use. Prior to doing so, Council wants a thorough inspection, testing and assessment undertaken of the existing mechanical and electrical services within the building. The appointed integrated consultant team (ICT) will make recommendations as to what works need to be undertaken to these systems prior to opening to ensure that they are both safe and will provide an acceptable level of continuous operational performance for a minimum period of five years . The appointed team will compile a full set of procurement documents for the execution of the approved extent of the recommended works, administer the contract for said works and provide full supervision of the works on site. \please refer to CfT documents for further details
