This contract is for the provision of equipment to accurately and efficiently digitise outsize (A0 in dimension; i.e. 841 X 1189mm or 33.1 X 46.8 inches) archive material to digital imaging preservation standards referenced in the Specification schedule. This will fill the gap in the current reprographic service offering and will enable the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) to meet customer expectations and equal the service offerings of other comparable UK and Irish national archival institutions.
