- The Sustainable Agri-Food Sciences Division within AFBI requires a minimum of 10 broiler metabolism units (20 cages) which will satisfy the requirements of the Animal (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 and enable a complete collection of excreta to be obtained from the birds housed in the cages. The Contractor will be required to supply, deliver, install, commission and maintain the units. AFBI may purchase further metabolism units during the first year following the successful delivery of the initial 10 units if funding is available.
