- The Department for Infrastructure (DFI) has a requirement to undertake an exercise to positionally improve the existing polygons and then DfI can engage with the Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland to import the latest base maps for use in the NI Planning Portal (NIPP). DFI require a managed service using an automated solution is required to shift asset data (lines and polygons). The service must include data analysis and planning, definition and accommodation of data rules, automated data transformation, quality assurance, and reinstatement to a replica instance of the spatial data to be reintegrated into the NIPP.
