- Title:
- ID 3136501 SEUPB - AFBI - LiDAR Data for Blackwater
- CfT CA Unique ID:
- SSD-3966
- Evaluation Mechanism:
- Price/Cost Effectiveness
- Description:
- The Agri-Environmental Branch (AEB) of the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) requires the highest resolution elevation data for use on the CatchmentCARE programme as existing elevation data are not of a high enough resolution or spatial accuracy. Work is ongoing in the catchment to investigate the Hydromorphology, point and diffuse sources of pollution and farm nutrient management practices in the catchment and this dataset will enable the delivery of these work tasks to be delivered to the highest standard. The requirement is therefore for the collection and delivery of elevation data from LiDAR Digital Elevation and Digital Terrain Models (DEM and DTM). The DTM (or digital surface model) will have the elevations representing buildings, trees, hedgerows, roads etc removed by the Contractor using a computer algorithm to estimate the true ground surface elevation as if these features were not present and obscuring view of the true ground surface.
