- The following is provided in good faith and is intended only as a preliminary background explanation to Translink’s requirement, it does not purport to be all inclusive. Following the new ethical standard released in 2019, a firm’s external auditors are now prevented from also providing tax services. In light of this, Translink is now seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to undertake Corporation Tax Advisor Services - in line with the following: • Provision of corporation tax compliance services to all group companies. • Provision of other tax advice as required from time to time, such as VAT, and employment taxes. The anticipated start date is 1 February 2021 however dates may be subject to change. Translink reserves the right to accept part of any Tender from one or any number of Tenderers and may change the contracting strategy at any time. Please Note: Both Translink’s Internal and External Auditors are conflicted and therefore excluded from this competition.
