Description:
This competition is below the EU Procurement Threshold for Schedule 3 (Social and Other Specific Services); therefore the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply. CAFRE wishes to appoint a Contractor to deliver training sessions and workshops to groups of farmers, farm family members and their employees in Northern Ireland on ‘Coping with the Pressures of Farming’. This falls within the Health and Safety element of the FFKS scheme and the training must be based on the ‘Well Aware’ mental wellbeing course. Farming is going through a period of great change and transformation and this can bring uncertainty and additional stress for people in rural areas. The aim of this programme is to provide farmers and farm families with the information on the causes of stress, what steps they can take to appropriately support themselves and when they need help – where to find it.
