Description:
This tender opportunity is linked to the Communities in Transition (CIT) Project which delivers Action B4 of the Executive Action Plan on Tackling Paramilitary Activity, Criminality and Organised Crime. TEO is seeking to establish a Contract for Facilitating Area Regeneration Projects in the North Belfast and Lurgan CIT Areas that will support projects or activity that benefits target communities. Annex A of the Specification of Requirements Schedule provides a map of the designated areas. This Tender is split into two Lots and Tenderers can bid for one or both Lots. Tenderers are required to submit a bid for each lot they are bidding for. Tenderers are required to tailor their submission to meet the requirements of each lot(s). The tender structure for this competition, on the eTendersNI portal, has been configured in two Lots. Tenderers are responsible for ensuring they upload their tender bid(s) into the correct Lot within the eTendersNI portal. The estimated total value of the Contract is £91,400. The estimated total value of each Lot is outlined below: • Lot 1 North Belfast - £45,700 • Lot 2 Lurgan - £45,700 This estimate represents the maximum value per Lot and Tenderers should price accordingly in order to obtain a competitive advantage. The Contractor will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the CIT area associated with the Lot they are bidding for and the urban area regeneration issues within it. The Contractor will design and deliver a Facilitating Area Regeneration Project that will facilitate the production of a draft regeneration plan and a draft regeneration report for the CIT Area. The programme will include the active participation of at least 5 individuals. The Contractor will recruit individuals to the project through engagement with target organisations / groups / individuals within the CIT Area. Further details of the contract requirements are contained within the Specification of Requirements Schedule. The Contractor will be expected to start delivering the Contract by early January 2020 and shall continue until its successful completion which must be no later than 31st March 2021.
