Description:
This tender opportunity is linked to the Communities in Transition (CIT) Project which delivers Action B4 of the Executive Action Plan on Tackling Paramilitary Activity, Criminality and Organised Crime. TEO is seeking to appoint a Contractor to design and deliver a Capacity Building Programme in the North Down geographic area of the CIT Project. Annex A of the Specification of Requirements Schedule provides a map of the designated area; this is the Kilcooley and Rathgill areas of North Down. The Contractor will identify and recruit a minimum of 8 participant organisations/groups to the programme. The Contractor will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the North Down CIT area and the capacity building issues within it. The Contractor will also need to adopt a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of services, instigating an extensive outreach programme of activity to target all eligible organisations / groups located in the North Down CIT area which may experience exclusion. Funding from the CIT Project will be made available by the Contracting Authority to support the delivery of the overall project (see Section 8.1 of the Specification of Requirements Schedule). It is anticipated that an award decision will be made within 2 weeks from the closing date for this tender competition. The Contract will commence within one month from the date of the Award letter therefore the Contractor will be expected to start delivering the Contract by late December 2019. The Contract will run until 31st March 2021 from the date of contract commencement.
