Ministry of Defence - Support of Digital and ICT Roles The United Kingdom Ministry of Defence is considering an exciting opportunity to revise the approach to contracting expertise in support of Digital and ICT Roles. The intention is to select a number of suppliers onto a Flexible Delivery Partner Framework (FDPF) covering all D and IT capability and expertise required to deliver MOD Digital IT Programs and transformation for the next 3 to 5 years. The new framework will be a multi-lot framework that has a number of suppliers per lot to deliver a wide range of capability and expertise to MoD. The MoD will define the lot and initial capability required but will not constrain what capability suppliers can put forward as long as it fits with the capability family under the specific lot. It is anticipated that suppliers may be successful across multiple lots resulting in an estimated 6 to 9 strategic delivery partners. The estimated value of throughput on this framework is up to 300 000 000 GBP per year, with an initial 3-year contract duration (with possible options for extension) under consideration. The option periods are also estimated up to a value of 300 000 000 GBP per year, with a potential future value over the life of the contract of 1 500 000 000 GBP. The framework will be established for use by all UK public sector bodies (and any future successors to these organisations) including all Central Government departments, executive agencies and non-departmental public bodies. The MOD is hosting an Industry event to give potential suppliers the opportunity to better understand its requirements, and comment on potential ways forward. This will be held on 6.11.2019 as part of a TechUK Event in London. There will be 2 separate sessions (both providing the same information) at 9.00-10.30 and 11.00-12.30.
